It has been confirmed that NLC are withdrawing free rail travel for disabled persons and discounted rail fares for the elderly as from early June (presumably after the election).
Apparently the restriction will only apply to journeys from Scunthorpe on TPE services; concessionary fares on all the local Northern services will not be withdrawn.
