From Monday 3rd February, Stagecoach will introduce new service 255 between Hull, Barton Market Place and Wren Kitchens. Barton Interchange will not be served. Departures from Hull at 0605, 0805, 1425, 1630 and 1730. From Wren at 1550, 1720 and 1810. Hopefully a success at attracting commuter traffic.

The 255 will mean the withdrawal of the followings service 250 journeys:

0645 Hull to Barton

0825, 1425, 1630 and 1730 Hull to Humberside Airport

1525, 1740 and 1840 Humberside Airport to Hull

The above changes are Monday to Friday only. The Saturday 250 timetable is unaffected.

Thanks very much for this information. It is a shame that the 255 does not stop at the railway station -  I have previously been asked about getting to Wren Kitchens from Grimsby. Otherwise, a postive improvement and certainly better than the buses carrying fresh air to Humberside Airport.

The corrected 250/255 and 350 stagecoach timetables have been put on display at Hull interchange travel office since Wednesday.

The 4.30pm arrival to and departure from Hull of the 255 service on Thursday were both well patronised, although one passenger for Barton had expected it to call at the interchange.
