A member asked a question at the recent OGM regarding restrictions of off peak tickets. The simple answer is that it depends on the ticket, not the train. Each ticket has its own restriction code. A good unnofficial website to look up the restrictions is www.brfares.com
For cheap day returns internal to the Barton Line, off peak is defined as after 08:59 on weekdays and at any time on weekends and bank holidays.
