There is further industrial action on Saturday 3rd March. Although not yet confirmed by Northern, the 06:56 Barton - Cleethorpes is currently showing as replaced by an 06:58 Barton - Grimsby Town. There is no replacement service shown for Grimsby Docks, New Clee or Cleethorpes. There is the odd minor retiming showing to other services.

 

Will passengers at Cleethorpes, Grimsby Town and Habrough also please note that there will be no Brigg line service on this date. I would be surprised if ticket acceptance was arranged.

There will be further Northern industrial action on Monday 26th and Thursday 29th March. On these dates, the 05:30 Doncaster - Cleethorpes will not run.

Note that the RMT industrial action previously called for Saturday 21st July has now been called off. A normal service should now operated on Northern routes.

There is now strike action called for Northern guards on Saturdays 25th August, 1st September and 8th September.

Barton services should be unaffected as they are crewed by TPE staff, however other Northern services will be affected. In particular, in our area note that as all three dates are Saturdays there is unlikely to be any Brigg line service and services to Hull will be severely reduced.

Ticket acceptance with TPE will be in place, so if for example you have an advance purchase ticket to Sheffield via Brigg, you may travel by appropriate alternative trains.

Fee free refunds are available for anybody who chooses not to travel.

As usual, all Barton line services should run, but people at Cleethorpes, Grimsby and Habrough note that the Brigg line trains will not run.
