Railfuture Lincs have publicised in Rail Lincs details of a petition to encourage the government to continue with the stalled Castlefield Corridor capacity enhancement works. Whilst this is out of our area and does not directly affect Barton Line services, I would encourage as many FBL members as possible to sign as delays caused by congestion in the Castlefield corridor frequently, via delays passed through TPE trains, cause knock on delays to Barton Line trains.
