Due to a landslip west of Scunthorpe, First Transpennine Express services are currently being replaced by buses between Doncaster and Scunthorpe. Truncated train services operate Cleethorpes - Scunthorpes and Doncaster - Manchester. Normal services are currently expected to resume on Wednesday 24th June.
Until close of service today, Wednesday 17th June 2020, Northern Train services will run with delay between Doncaster and Scunthorpe, using single line working arrangements through the affected area. These services will cease at the end of today to allow both lines to be closed, which is necessary for the repairs to be completed.
TPE are continuing to run a replacement bus Scunthorpe - Doncaster, with Cleethorpes - Scunthorpe and Doncaster - Manchester train services either side. Note that there are still some trains missing as a result of the COVID19 timetable. The 21:53 bus from Doncaster will run through to Cleethorpes, stopping at the usual stations to set down only.
Northern are running an all shacks Doncaster - Scunthorpe replacement bus.
Normal service now expected to resume Thursday 25th June.
