Stagecoach East Midlands and Hornsby Travel have now released their Easter weekend arrangements. Please see the below summary of arrangements in our area:
Friday 2nd April 2021
Barton Line train services will be run as per normal. Note that the 06:58 from Cleethorpes and 07:56 from Barton no longer run.
Abellio East Midlands Railway services from Cleethorpes, Grimsby Town and Habrough to Lincoln Central and Newark North Gate will run to their current amended timetable.
First Transpennine Express services serving Cleethorpes, Grimsby Town and Habrough will run to their current 2 hourly timetable terminating at Manchester Piccadilly.
East Yorkshire and Stagecoach Humber Fastcast service 350 buses will run to their normal Friday timetable.
Stagecoach service 250 will run to a Saturday timetable.
Stagecoach service 255 will run to a Sunday timetable.
Stagecoach Humber Fastcat service 350 will run to a normal Friday timetable.
Local Stagecoach services within Grimsby and Cleethorpes will run to a Saturday timetable apart from services 1, 2 and 20 to Europarc which will run to their normal Friday timetable.
Hornsby Barton Town service 254 will run to its normal Friday timetable.
Saturday 3rd April 2021
Barton Line train services will be run as per normal. Note that the 06:58 from Cleethorpes and 07:56 from Barton no longer run.
The Saturday only Northern Cleethorpes - Sheffield via Brigg service remains suspended.
Abellio East Midlands Railway services from Cleethorpes, Grimsby Town and Habrough to Lincoln Central and Newark North Gate will run to their current amended timetable.
First Transpennine Express services from Cleethorpes, Grimsby Town and Habrough to Manchester Piccadilly will be replaced by buses between Doncaster and Sheffield.
East Yorkshire and Stagecoach buses will run to their normal Saturday timetable.
Sunday 4th April 2021
There will be no Barton Line train service as per the winter timetable which will still be in operation.
There will be no Abellio East Midlands Railway service at Cleethorpes, Grimsby Town or Habrough as per the winter timetable which will still be in operation.
First Transpennine Express services from Cleethorpes, Grimsby Town and Habrough to Manchester Piccadilly will be replaced by buses between Doncaster and Sheffield.
East Yorkshire and Stagecoach buses will run to their normal Sunday timetable.
Monday 5th April 2021
Barton Line train services will be run as per normal. Note that the 06:58 from Cleethorpes and 07:56 from Barton no longer run. Also note that the 21:04 from Cleethorpes and 22:02 from Barton will be a replacement bus service, will not call at New Clee, Grimsby Docks or Thornton Abbey and at Barrow Haven will serve the Haven Inn rather than the railway station.
Abellio East Midlands Railway services from Cleethorpes, Grimsby Town and Habrough to Lincoln Central and Newark North Gate will run to their current amended timetable.
First Transpennine Express services from Cleethorpes, Grimsby Town and Habrough to Manchester Piccadilly will be replaced by buses between Doncaster and Sheffield.

Stagecoach buses will run to a Sunday timetable, apart from in Grimsby services 1, 2 and 20 to Europarc will run to their normal Monday timetable.
Hornsby Barton Town service 254 will not run.
I suspect that on Good Friday, the 'short' morning peak 250 from Barton to Hull may not operate - this is the return working from a 255 journey that isn't operating, and unlike the rest of the 250, is operated by Hull rather than Grimsby depot.
It's not ideal on the Stagecoach website when Hull is down as a Sunday service apart from the 350, and Grimsby as a Saturday service. I presume it refers to operating depot, but for the general public if they look for the 250 under Hull they may think it's not operating at all.
Very good spot - would surely be better if they provided a temporary timetable in that circumstance.
