There will be significant changes to local bus services in the Grimsby and Cleethorpes area from Sunday 7th May 2023.

Service 7 will now only run from Riverhead Exchange to Curzon Avenue. It will no longer serve Laceby, Grange Estate, Humberston or North Sea Lane.

Service 8 will now run via Franklin College between Riverhead Exchange and Scartho and will also extend from North Sea Lane to Cleethorpes Pier.

During the day, services 9 and 10 will extend from North Sea Lane to Hewitts Circus Tesco. In the evenings, service 10 will only run from Cleethorpes Pier to Waltham and will no longer serve North Sea Lane.

Additional hourly service 12 short services are added from Riverhead Exchange to Bradley Park, giving a half hourly service on this section. Evening peak service 12W is now replaced by a standard service 12, terminating at New Waltham and no longer serving Waltham.

Service 250 will now only run between Grimsby and Kingston upon Hull, and will no longer serve Hainton Avenue or Cleethorpes. Frequency is reduced during the day.

There are also minor timetable changes on services 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 20 and 51.

The Stagecoach service 250, connecting providing connections from Barton and Grimsby to Kingston upon Hull, Hessle, Barrow, Thornton Curtis, Ulceby, Keelby and Laceby is having more modern buses introduced, featuring route branding and automated audio visual announcements.

Sadly, the service has recently been cut back, no longer serving Cleethorpes or the Weelsby area of Grimsby, with some 90 minute gaps in service in the middle of the day.
