On Thursday 12 September, a TPE class 802 Shinkansen railbus visited Cleethorpes for publicity filming purposes. The opportunity was also taken to do route validation work at the TPE served intermediate stations between Doncaster and Cleethorpes in case the need ever arises for these units to be used on the south route in the future.
